WaterlaseTM Dental Laser Therapy
The Waterlase™ uses advanced Hydrokinetic technology to perform a variety of dental therapy procedures. Many fillings can now be done using the Waterlase™ Laser. Heat and vibration are the cause of most of the pain associated with the traditional drills. Since Hydrokinetic shaping does not transmit heat or vibration, Most Dental Procedures Can Be Performed With No Pain, In Most Cases. The laser’s pinpoint accuracy is precise enough that Dr. Chen can leave behind as much healthy tooth structure as possible, allowing you to keep your own teeth longer. The Waterlase™ gently perform numerous soft tissue (gum) procedures with little or no bleeding. In addition to comfort, the laser makes teeth less likely to need crowns and root canals in the future. Unlike drills, the laser does not cause microcracking of the teeth, and it actually sterilizes the tooth as the decay is being removed. The result is less chance of needing future crowns and root canal treatment. The Waterlase™ prepares your teeth in a way that maximizes the bonding of tooth colored fillings, allowing them to last longer.
